Character design and painting !
So i have this character she is kind of a tomboyish person using yo yo as her weapon and time period is in future so she have jet flying snowboard thingy i did some silhouettes and also character design
and i was wondering for my computer paint final should i do a simple pose of her of one of the silluestes or do the action pose i have of her..should i make her realistic and cartoony..this feeling is killing me i cant decide D: help me! and if it sucks please let me know i want as much as negativefeedback as possible LOL XD i mean i need to improve right?

I like the middle right and bottom left silhouettes.
For pose I would suggest if you want to challenge yourself go for an action image. But if you need this for reference then do a simple standing pose.
As for real vs cartoony, unless you are wanting to shoot a specific way I would suggest just draw it and not worry about style.

ye your right thank you so much Amie and as Andy said i think ill do character cause i haven't experiencing with character so much so probably instead of action pose do that pose as reference
Re: Character design and painting !
your poses are very strong. I have absolutely no doubt about how awesome your character is going to look. Make sure to take as much reference as you can for your background.
Re: Character design and painting !
I think the best pose for reference or modeling purposes would be the second silhouette down in the second column.
If you're still concepting though, go with the dynamic pose.

Love where this is going, Sudi. As I told you in class i love style you've been doing.
If your going to do a character in a stance I would love to see how you'd position them in a scene. Placement of a still posed character can be just as dynamic as a character in motion.
