Scripts and Shelf Editors for Animation

I don't expect an answer anytime soon since this is an advanced topic. Well not too advanced its just I'm using a script called pose 2 shelf which basically allows you to select a controller(s) and either save it to the custom shelf as a "selection" or save a pose. So I made mouth shapes with the Morpheus rig and saved the shelf but after I re open the maya file, the buttons no longer exist. No clue why this is happening because I'd like to be able to block in my lip sync.
