Just the rough sketch right now. This is what I've been able to get done since Wednesday with the passing of my Syrenity. I'll try to throw some paint on it tomorrow. Thoughts thus far?

This is looking very nice Very Happy
I suggest putting something to fill empty space at the bottom. Something maybe like a plant in the corner that helps draw viewers eyes to the character.

This is awesome, Nissa! The colors really changed the mood of this piece for me. It seems so nice and peaceful. Your environments always look awesome, I love all the details that you add. And I feel like your anatomy has really progressed alot.

One thing tho, I can't really tell what's going on with that back railing, with the angle that it's at. Is it like a stairwell or something.

No the reference images of the balcony has the back rail at a tilt, which I meant to fix then forgot. And thanks for liking my Avi. I miss her. ;_;

I was able to get one side shaded today. I turned off the main layer with 80% of my chicken scratch on it so you guys can see better.

i love this nissa the only thing that throw me of is the rug becuase of the color
aand also it throw the eye of of the girl which im guessing is ur focal point maybe u should change the rug color
also in the picture below i suggest u to have 3 layers so it shows space
and the flashes is maybe u should put a planet or something that draw ur eye to girl and for the 3rd layer have everything with less saturation so it makes an illusion of space
hope it helps <3

Sudi, by flashes do you mean the railing? o.O 'cause sorry that's not going to happen. As a viewer we are looking at her from close to center of the balcony.
I'll change the carpet color though, or toss it out all together. No more plants. I don't want to add anything to the foreground because I already have so much going on to the left.

Figured I'd let you see progress before I go bat-crap crazy on the rails/ironwork. Does anyone know a way to make glass look like glass? Besides using the distort filter. >.>

Hey Jenisse,
You can usually get a good glass look by adding some angled shine on across the windows. In a picture like yours the glass effect isn't going to be the critical issue. IT will be far more important to make your character look like they are really enjoying their peaceful location.

Keep doing awesome!

I would like to see your far background to be less in focus. Play a bit with depth of field. Even making the colors less saturated would make a big difference.

I know you want the focus to be on the girl but the balcony just seems so stale and boring compared to the rest of the image. Honestly I would crop out most of the bottom section of the image below her feet.

Complicated image for sure! Keep up the awesome!

I think I'm done with this now. I'm sure there is more that I could do but I'm happy with this so I don't want to mess with it too much more.
