That is really awesome! Love the colors you are using, it definitely shows the steampunk feel. My critique would be to put the lights and darks more, giving the metal some more shiny highlights as well.

I always find steampunk to be difficult, I think it might just be I'm no good at industrial design or I just suck at painting metal...
Anywho... I love where this is going. The head piece is really interresting, along with the logo on the chest.
Same critique as Bobbi, push the contrast.

I can tell what you want for metal, so is the red supposed to be fabric? 'cause that's what it's looking like especially if you want a velvet texture.

i agree with everyone pushing some lighs and contrast would be helpfull also if u go to feng zhu website
