Feild Trip to the Barn!
I couldn't think of another place for this.
You guys remember I asked in our first meeting this quarter if you wanted to do a drawing party thing at the place mom keeps her horses right? I know Micah will. I talked to one of the owners and it won't be a problem at all.
The drawing workshop for those of you who are able to make it will be at 6-ish. We will meet at the school, in the main lobby on Friday between 5:30 pm - 6:00 pm, then you guys can follow me over to Visa Farms. Be warned, wear clothes that can get dirty and boots if you have them. The barn is a seeping mud hole right now. You my bring your sketch books, cameras, or what you need for reference. I ask we keep paper noise to a minimum.
Horse common sense: they cannot see right in front of them so it's best to stand off to the side just a bit. If you stand behind a horse, do the horse a favor and let it know you're there. You'll only get kicked if you give it a good reason to kick you. This is a PRAY animal and therefore can scare easily. And if animals pooping, being smelly, or loud bugs you, do not come.
This isn't a mandatory drawing thingy, this is just something I thought would be fun and nice for those who wanted to do this.
